Valued for its oil and protein content, nitrogen-fixing soybean is used for food, fiber, animal feed and biofuel. As an important protein source, soybean production is integral to global food security.  AgBiotech researchers work to discover and develop new soybean varieties with improved yields, better disease and pest resistance, herbicide tolerance, higher stress resilience, reduced need for chemical inputs, and improved nitrogen fixation.

Our clean, inert Oasis Grower Solutions substrates and production aids help support AgBiotech researchers with seed and plantlet establishment, healthy root growth, and water and fertility management. Our engineered substrates can be sanitized or sterilized chemically or physically (autoclave or gamma sterilization) without breaking down or altering their physical structure. In addition, treatments can be added and removed from the open-cell foam design, allowing AgBiotech scientists greater control in their vital research.

Please note: Our engineered foam substrates are autoclavable, but our plastic trays are not. If you are interested in a configuration that’s not part of our standard offering, please let us know.
